Register to Vote and Vote for candidates that suppront reforms to local cannabis laws
Voting is an excellent way to make a change in drug policy. Voting sends a direct message to other voters and politicians that Cannabis law reform is an issue to be reckoned with. Dues paying members help to financially support the activities of PhillyNORML. As of yet, PhillyNORML is not registered as an official nonprofit organizations with the federal government and dontatons to the group willl not necessarily be tax deductible.
Attend our Events

Attend our Meetings
Visitors are welcome at the PhillyNORML meetings. Please remember that this is a serious, meeting atmosphere and we ask that you act accordingly. The PhillyNORML board follows a loose version of Robert's rules of order to ensure that everyone has a voice at these meetings and debate can occur.

Write your Representatives
Your representatives in City Council may not know his/her constituents are interested in Cannabis law reform. Establishing a dialogue with your local representatives is a good way to let your representatives know that this issue is important. Click on the links below to contact local representatives.
Write a Letter to the Editor
Letters to the editor are good tools to get the message of responsible Cannabis Law reform to the public. The letters to the editor section of your local newspaper is one of the most widely read sections of any publication.

Start or Join a Committee
If you would like to dedicate some time to a specific goal of PhillyNORML then consider joining one of our different committees. Committees meet outside of regular meetings to work on specific projects such as College Outreach, Community Service, and Political Action.
