For the love of whatever you believe in... you guys just jumped your flamefest from that other thread to this one. If you're going to continue to argue and bicker over politicians you've never met and their parties, either do it in a civil manner, or do it via private message. This comment originated from the Administrator. Obviously he is unaware that I helped the Obama campaign, that I met him, shook his hand,was thanked by him and had a book signed thanking myself and my wife for our efforts. I'm on a first name basis with the only Democrat in my district. I'm not sure where the Administrator gets off on his allegations of not meeting politicians and apparently only his meetings with lawmakers deserving merit, but I've had enough of the condescending bullshit and big Ego's I've encountered here. Medicine man, it's great that you've actually met and spoken with a few politicians. Being politically active is what we're about. But it's not a pissing contest - we're here to reform marijuana laws, not see who can talk to the most legislators.

Quietus' last comments about you being batshit insane were over the top and not cool, and I've asked him to stop, but he HAS been contributing to other threads without mentioning or replying to you at all. I'm TRYING not to get involved in your argument, I'm simply trying to keep these forums civil. And lets make something clear - you rekindled the arguing simply by POSTING THIS THREAD, calling him a narc, in the first place.

Interesting, that you believe correcting non-factual statements would dissuade someone else from posting.  After all, you just registered and posted no?  Welcome to the forums.

I never said that, please be kind enough to quote where I did.  Comical, is believe that GOP HQ is following your interweb activities and sending out agents to undermine you.

As far as 'furthering the cause' goes, I've both called and written a letter to my state legislator's offices.  As a citizen that is what I'm supposed to do.  Unfortunately, being a rational individual does not disqualify me from participation.

p.s, I also met a politician once.  I talked with and shook hands with Bruce Babbitt, Clinton's secretary of the interior, during the lighting ceremony of the Washington Monument.  Scaffolding and lights were added as work was being done.  Interestingly, Willard Scott had a chair collapse under his weight and he fell backwards off the stage they had fashioned.  (He wasn't hurt thankfully)

Apparently relatives are unable to post using the same computer.... as my spouse has had her post deleted by the Admin. and threatened with expulsion, no matter. The Admin. also claims in the above post that I haven't met members of my own political party? When proof is offered he claims "it's not a pissing contest", although I recall his comments of early morning travel to Harrisburg to meet lawmakers,"passing cows on the way" and doing it as a volunteer.  I wasn't attempting a pissing contest,just informing that I have ,in fact, met with lawmakers....and the President of the United States. Has anyone else here met Obama, or have been personally thanked for their assistance as a volunteer by him?

If local chapters can be organized it would be more beneficial to those of us outside the Philly area,but that apparently is going to take some time. I will not let you post on multiple usernames on our forum, especially interjecting into a personal argument that you are in with another member. I do not believe you that it was another family member and even if it was they only came here to start trouble in this thread which you have a personal argument going on in and I know you are the direct reason for it. I will not have it here, sorry.

We do support our dues paying members but we will not tolerate this type of business on the forums regardless.
