Stop Violence Legalize Drugs!!!!

« on: May 13, 2009, 06:22:45 AM »

I was shocked last Friday, when me and my friends go pulled over for speeding in Robinson PA. The officer who pulled me over asked me to step out of my vehicle and told me his back up was coming and if me or my friends had any weed to toss it before they arrived with dogs. I was stunned in disbelief, all I could mumble was thank you. He didn't even give me a ticket for speeding. He even left the scene before us, so we were able to retrieve our precious cargo. I wish I could remember his name. I think he deserves a MEDAL for bravery! Or at least a cop of the year award!

Congrats!

The same thing happened to me once a decade or so ago.  Unknown to me my registration had expired and as a result a cop pulled me over at the Exxon at Henderson and South Gulph road.  I wasn't totally stoned out of my mind, but I was high and the smell of marijuana was readily apparent.  The cop didn't seem to care, took what was left of the quarter ounce and threw it in the trash.  He gave me a ticket for the registration and sent me on my way.

I've had friends with similar experiences in the metro area as well.  IMHO if you're just an average joe citizen and don't give the police an attitude, they're more than likely to look the other way with marijuana.  Now if there's other reasons to arrest you after the stop, like that unlicensed gun under the seat, they will use it to pile on as many charges as they possible can.

Things would probably be a totally different story for you and myself, if either of us were stopped in a crime ridden neighborhood like the badlands.
