Ok, as a sign of the times, that all things must pass, this old dog tried a new trick.  I got some of my things out of storage, and I came across a  volumn I had been wanting to read again.  Hasish, by R.C. Clarke and low and behold I found my way to Sadu Sam's Secret.  Being the adventureous person I am, a friend and I decided we'd give Sam's Secret a shot.  Low and behold, the end result is a one hit, two to really get there end result.

I got a 25% recovery rate of the tricomes.  We used 26.7 grams of Citrus Dragon and Blackberry shake and recovered 6.2 grams of whoop ass shake and bake 'sish.

All you need is a couple of quart or so jars, the magic ingredients, cold water, add ice, shake or stir, settle, skim, filter, squeeze out the water, warm and kneed until smokeable. Then enjoy.  All under about 2 hours, but a couple of runs through gets it all.  For the complete directions just search Sadu Sam!!  laughing  Next time, I'm gonna chill the ingredients to help it along a little.  Just a tip.

I know, some may already know this, but I just had to share in case you haven't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  joint peace

Hey Jackcat, try freezing the trim before you use it. Pre-freezing the trim makes all the trichomes 'stiff' so they break off real easy under the agitation caused by the ice. I used to use Sam's technique before I discovered bubble bags. The reason you're getting such a sweet return on your hash is because Sam's method leaves a lot of veg matter still in the finished product. You might want to try a hand-held blender to beat the hell out of it before you let it settle.

The bubble bags do filter all that extra plant matter out. The only problem I find with bubble hash is really a pretty subjective one; after smoking silk-screened hash for so many years, I've found the bubble bag process washes out a lot of the oils and terpines that make hashish smell and taste so great. Don't get me wrong, bubble kicks ass. It's a pure product. But, I'm sure the hash you make using Sam's recipe smells and tastes 10 times better than anything I can pull out of a bubble bag.  The strains you used sound tasty.   cannabis

You gotta try mine someday, OG Kush x Sour Diesel. Kicks ass and takes names later!  dtuju

That blender idea doesn't sound bad.  Using the tall jugs, I never put more then a oz in a one time.  And the tallness of the jugs gives it plenty of room to separate.  If people aren't used to pure THC smoking, they need some plant meterial to recognize the buzz.  joint peace
