cannabis $$$ in st. thomas

Im in St. Thomas for a week. I asked one of the workers at the resort I'm staying in if he could get me some cannabis. He asked a guy, who was standing there with dreads and a gold pot leaf earring, and he said it was $50 a gram for OC Kush. I asked another guy, he said that was about right unless you get what he call "skunk" which was $20 a gram. I was excited until he said that it was the kind with seeds.

Not for sure if I should spend that much. It's outrageous sounding to me, but what do you all think.

Update: If you are ever in St. Thomas this could be helpful.

So I went to a Coci beach which is where I was told to go for "ganja". When you get there it looks crowded but just turn left, and go to a shack called Uncle Buddies. Ask for Web, very cool black guy with dreads, very rasta looking. Web runs the place and will treat you like royalty. The Far left side of the beach is considered the "stinky" side, but not for those of us here. I bought a small Jar of "Kush" for $40, very nice, sticky and smelly, as well as two bags of local stuff for $20 each (gramish) which has seeds but is really nice and not overcrowded with seed. Supposedly it grows everywhere here. Web took us to the "stinky" side of the beach after getting us some beer, rolled me a joint, and sat there and smoked it with us.

Later a guy name Jay came and saw me rolling a joint and offered to sell me some Kush. He asked what I paid, I told him and he offered me 2 jars for 70. I said 50, he countered 60, I said no thank you, and the deal was sealed at 2 jars of Kush for 50.

I will keep you updated on my discoveries.

I've been looking for cool places to go on vacation... this definitely puts St. Thomas on the list of places to check out, hehe!
