So, I get home from work today and get a phonecall from David Argall's town hall meeting and I get patched right in!  He's running for state representative against Tim Holden in my district.  I'm reasonably certain that I'm voting for Tim Holden, but this could change my mind!

So I sit and listen to him talk about limiting the power of the federal government, and stopping wasteful spending in Washington, and I get hopeful.  I punch *3 to ask my question.  Forty-five minutes later, the operator gets to me and asks me for my name and number.  I tell her and she asks for my question:

"I'm wondering what Mr. Argall's standpoint on federal penalties associated with the use of marijuana is? He's talked about wasteful spending and limiting the power of the federal government throughout this whole phonecall and I was wondering if that extended to the War on Drugs?"

Operator's response? <pause for 10 seconds, muffled talking in the background> "Robert? I'll pass your message on to David Argall. I'm going to return you to the queue now."

Nope.  That was their way of saying, "You don't get to ask this question, we'll put you back in the queue and next time you come up you can ask another one."
