Upgrades to website 10/4/2010

I'm in the process of incorporating a number of updates and upgrades into the website. The backend has already been updated from CakePHP 1.1 to 1.3, bringing with it a number of advantages not the least of which is much faster (noticeably faster!) load times. More updates are planned and will be announced here when completed.

If anyone has any ideas for updates to the main website post them in this thread, and I will consider adding it to my to-do list for this update cycle. This is the best time to make suggestions!

I think the website is fine.

I've always preferred the functional and minimalist nature of SMF as opposed to others, that seem to be all about style.  I really enjoy being able to view the entire content of a thread without having to constantly click a button to view the next page/post.  If there were a 'view entire thread' feature added, that would be my only suggestion.

The others may look pretty, but tend to wear out my mouse with too much clicking, whitespace and scrolling going on.
