Greetings All

Actions are the seed of fate deeds grow into destiny.
                                                             Eric Hoffer          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Hoffer

I read this and thought what a fine idea. This plan will need some refining by people smarter than I. A good name, marketing skills and good PR would not hurt. This plan will require nation wide effort if it is to grow into destiny. It may not work but it sure won't hurt.
Everyone that smokes should try to plant just 10 seeds a month. These seed are not for smoking but a growing silent protest. Plant the seeds anywhere that they will be found in a public place. The malls, in front of or in police stations, in courthouses, offices building, banks, street corners, empty lots, around parking lots, public parks, golf courses, in tomato flats at the nurseries, fairgrounds. It does not matter where you plant or the sex or strain shitty seeds are fine, just that you plant 10 seeds that some one finds the evil weed, complains and calls the cops. Let us show the public why it is called weed.  Let the cops grow sick and tried of weeding if they have no one to arrest the will not even waste their time.
So pass the word for a growing protest, get out there and sow the seeds of discontent.
Can't wait to go to the mall. smiley_weed
Peace

Nice idea in theory, I've even considered it.

However in practice it could have quite devastating effects.  Imagine landrace genetics replaced with frankenstein autoflower or hermie prone bagseed genes.  Very bad mojo.  I know a lot of people in the scene hate seed companies with a passion for even selling ruderalis strains to the pubic.

Once again the link is bad.  I'm guessing that the subject of the message was OGG, over grow the government.  Even some who hate the ruderalis strain do this.  Just save up the seeds from the bags you buy and sow 'em wherever you see fit.  I'm a fan of the idea myself.

The link works fine if you remove the ftp from the url.

Why do you hate marijuana so much?  What did the plant ever do to you to deserve it's death in the wild?   cry

I've done this a few times, and so have friends of mine. Just go around to random places, plant a few seeds, see what happens in a month. It's even funnier when it's done unintentionally like the people who found weed growing in a planter out of the 2nd floor window of a building.

Not sure I understand Q, 'splain please.  I love the plant myself and am amazed at its ability to grow.  The breeding and production of of quality seeds are done by peeps whose knowledge and expertise exceed my own and in controlled environments.  The plant has been growing wild for god knows how long with naught but improvement as far as I know.  Besides, if more wild sowing had been done in earlier years, some sacred strains that have supposedly been lost may have survived somewhere.  Spread them beans and let the marvelous plant that is marijuana continue to grow and infect people with joy.   peace

Did they not teach you in school about this Catholic Priest named Gregor Mendel?  Everyone growing marijuana stands on his shoulders.  In doing what you are doing, you are effectively generating F1 hybrids that contain those horrible hermie prone or autoflower genes from your bagseed.

http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/article/3765

Consider a future, where the only decent strain of marijuana exists in a bonzai mother in someone's basement and it's clones.  Wild marijuana effectively dead and worthless. Regional landraces are a valuable resource, far more valuable than making a political point or getting a laugh with your bagseed.  It only takes one plant generating pollen to change them forever.

Ask yourself how you would react if you saw the following headline.

Quote
DEA announces plan to eradicate wild marijuana by genetic contamination with undesirable characteristics.

Spokesman: All breeders rely on these so called pure landraces to develop new strains for consumption.  By allowing natural processes to replace them with plants undesirable for growing for drug consumption, we can eliminate the marijuana problem at it's source with little cost to the taxpayer.

I imagine you would have a different reaction, but that's exactly what you are doing.

Ten seeds a month might not work. It is a seasonal plant. I say save every seed you can, and plant them all in the spring. I personally wouldn't use kush monsta seeds for this. It would be a tragic waste to let our public servants destroy such a beautiful plant. I would think Down Town Brown seeds would be the best way to go. Save the good ones for ur self. Rock wool in the down spouts. I live a hour and a half north west of philly. Seed spreading the corn fields would be fun. Grow so much that the county would go broke destroying it all.
