5/3/2008 - 2008 Global Cannabis March



Join PhillyNORML activists and over 500 local pot smokers, law reform supporters, medical marijuana patients and doctors, and even non-smokers as we rally and protest the government's war on marijuana users.

We will meet at the southeast corner of South St. and Broad St. at 4:00PM, and between 4:20 and 4:40 we will begin the march. Our route will take us east, down south street until we reach Headhouse square. There we will rally and hear people in the movement speak about their issues. There will be vendors selling marijuana-themed items

10/29/2007 - Cypress Hill Concert

Join PhillyNORML at the TLA on South Street during the Cypress Hill concert! B-Real and the rest of Cypress Hill are very active and vocal marijuana enthusiasts and have been among the forerunners in the field of entertainment arts in the crusade for the legalization of marijuana. This is the perfect opportunity for like-minded stoners and legalization supporters to come together, enjoy a great show, and see where the movement is going. Stay tuned, event details coming soon!

  Come out and Join PhillyNORML as we hold our third annual Candlelight Vigil for Medical Cannabis patients. Light a candle for someone who been been denied Cannabis, arrested during federal raids on Cannabis dispensaries, and those who have been forced to buy their medicine illegally through street dealers.
  
  Afterwards, please join PhillyNORML for food and drinks at Independence Brew Pub.

  Join the annual pot protest that's occuring in over 200 cities worldwide. Celebrate your love for cannabis freedom. The Philly Global Cannabis March with take off at 4:20 from Broad and South Streets in Philadelphia for a march to headhouse square (Click here for a Map) where a rally will be happening. Come out and help make a difference in Philadelphia!
  
  To sweeten the deal the Keswick Theater who will be hosting the Marijuana Logues has given us two tickets to raffle off at the rally. So get off the couch and come out out!

  The ultimate stoner – TOMMY CHONG – brings the hilarious smash Off-Broadway hit “THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES” to Glenside’s Keswick Theatre for two shows on Sat., May 6, 7:30 & 10 PM.   The show is the edgiest theater piece to come to the Philadelphia area this year – written by comedians Arj Barker, Doug Benson (of VH1’s Best Week Ever) and Tony Camin, and directed by Jim Millan.
