A Child's Garden of Grass -- An unabashed comedy classic performed in part by members of The Firesign Theatre, based on the book by Jack S. Margolis. The legendary recording remained out of print for decades until Rhino released this limited internet-only CD, so grab it now before it's gone forever. You might also consider tracking down a used copy of the Child's Garden of Grass book that inspired the album. ~ Trisha
The Marijuana-Logues -- The hilarious three-man Off-Broadway comedy hit is newly available on CD. Order your copy today and find out for yourself why Marijuana-Logues is the toast of New York. ~ Trisha
David Peel & The Lower East Side: And The Rest Is History -- This disc combines their two classics, Have a Marijuana and The American Revolution, now remastered and with extensive liner notes. The first is a bawdy and boistrous acoustic set, which was recorded live in New York City's Washinton Square Park in 1968, and irreverently satirizes the issues of the day, from Vietnam to pot prohibition. For their second set, they bring their act into the studio, plug it in, and crank it up! ~ Tim
THC The Hip Hop Collection -- Kick ass cd by High Times records. Includes various smoke filled hip hop tracks by mostly underground artists ... a sure thing for hip hop heads out there! ~ dOc
Reefer Madness: The Musical -- Terrific original cast recording from the smash-hit play which ran from 1999-2002 in NYC and LA. Catchy tunes, first-rate muscianship, and hilarious lyrics. A star-studded movie version of the quirky musical airs on SHOWTIME in April, 2005. ~ Trisha
Dope & Glory -- Easily the most comprehensive collection of "reefer songs" from the 30's and 40's ever compiled. Among the 50 (!) songs included on this import you'll find seminal jazz artists such as Cab Calloway, Gertrude Michael, Louis Armstrong, and Tommy Dorsey ... all singing about marijuana. ~ Trisha
Reefer Madness Vintage Collection -- Similar to Dope & Glory, only shorter and less expensive. Compiles marijuana-themed jazz songs from the 30's and 40's. ~ Trisha
Hempilation: Freedom is NORML -- The 1995 benefit CD features renditions of popular marijuana tunes by artists such as Ziggy Marley, Blues Traveler, Cypress Hill, and The Black Crowes. A second Hempilation volume saw release in 1998. The out-of-print follow up showcases Willie Nelson, George Clinton, and Letters to Cleo. ~ Trisha
